![]() ![]() I'm also planning to get a 12.9" iPad Pro soon, primarily for lectures and note-taking, but I do all my assignments on my MacBook Air anyway and I doubt it will change even with the iPad Pro around. My friends who have the touch bar version have said it's a useless gimmick and it sometimes lags and freezes. If I was getting a new MacBook Pro, I was looking at a 1TB SSD 13", keeping other configs the same but unsure on whether to get touch bar or not. I need and use the MacBook Air on an everyday basis and because I'm headed back to Melbourne (I came back to Singapore for the semester break) early next month, I need to either replace the battery or get myself a MacBook Pro in Singapore because it's a lot cheaper compared to Australian prices. Based on estimates, I should be able to bring it to the Genius Bar to replace the battery for about $200-ish SGD. It's also starting to freeze a little now and then right after starting up and when switching between apps. Currently it has the service battery notification, so battery life's starting to be affected. This subreddit is not endorsed or sponsored by Apple Inc.
